Shawn Maloney, is an independent financial planner, author of the book “The Priority of Retirement” and the owner and CEO of Retire Wise, LLC. With over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry I have a passion for helping people ready themselves for retirement. Shawn started his career in financial technology and compliance before moving into insurance and financial planning roles. He then founded Retire Wise, LLC, in 2020. Shawn’s insights have been featured in publications such as Yahoo Finance, USA Today, and Kiplinger, and on TV networks including NBC, ABC, FOX, and CBS. As an independent financial advisor, Shawn is committed to helping his clients pursue their goals." As an investment adviser representative, I have dedicated my career to helping ensure that individuals are equipped with the information and tools they need to help grow and preserve their retirement savings. Focusing on, comprehensive and personalized retirement planning, including the important drawdown phase as well as accumulation to get ready. Providing clients with a clear and understandable framework for the future. We also consider the non-financial aspects of retirement as well to assist with preparing a more complete plan. Utilizing my transparent and comprehensive approach to planning, known as "The Retire Happy FrameworkTM", I help provide our clients with confidence about their future Shawn holds a BBA in finance and investments from Georgia Southern University.  In addition to helping people with retirement planning, I find solace in spending time with my family and giving back to my community and church.
