Shawn Maloney is an independent financial planner, author of the book “The Priority of Retirement,” and the owner and CEO of Retire Wise, LLC. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, he has a passion for helping people ready themselves for retirement.
Shawn started his career in financial technology and compliance before moving into insurance and financial planning roles. He then founded Retire Wise, LLC, in 2020. Shawn’s insights have been featured in publications such as Yahoo Finance, USA Today and Kiplinger, and on TV networks including NBC, ABC, FOX and CBS.
As an independent financial advisor, Shawn is committed to helping his clients pursue their goals. He aims to help clients reach a comfortable retirement lifestyle through comprehensive retirement plans, and he has dedicated his career to helping ensure individuals are equipped with the information and tools they need to help grow and preserve their retirement savings. Through his "The Retire Happy Framework™, he provides comprehensive and personalized retirement planning.
Shawn holds a BBA in finance and investments from Georgia Southern University. In addition to helping people with retirement planning, he enjoys spending time with family and giving back to his community and church.
